Essence of Humanity
Essence of Humanity is an office interior created for a design studio in a former storefront. Most of the original layout is kept, including a retro mottled wall. Black, gray and brown tones are combined with terrazzo-like tile flooring, soft wooden textures and clean-cut steel hardware. A display wall presents the studio works next to a gradient mural. Large windows and fluted glass separate the work area, the meeting area and the terrace, where dark shingles, stone and plants form a quiet garden.
Essence of Humanity Office Space by Tsung Yen Feng, Jou An Chen has been recognized as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Essence of Humanity Office Space received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
