Art Villa
Art Villa is a four story residential interior design covering 380 square meters. Some walls were removed to make full use of the large space, and glass partitions divide the rooms while daylight passes through them. The second floor is the largest open area and holds the kitchen, dining room and living room. Stone, wood and other rough materials are used throughout. Hidden doors conceal the storeroom and the toilet. A sliding door separates a quiet studio from the children's area, which opens onto a courtyard.
Art Villa Residential House by Lycent Lai was featured as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Art Villa Residential House earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
