Suzhou Takosa
Suzhou Takosa is a hair salon interior located in Suzhou, China. The project covers 400 square meters and interprets French style in a modern way. Red and black arched openings divide the space and create a sense of rhythm and depth. Dark red velvet walls, black cloud wallpaper, carved wood veneer and golden metal details form the main material palette. Blue floor tiles are shaped by water jet cutting. The layout combines open seating with private rooms, so that business clients can talk in quiet and private conditions.
Suzhou Takosa Hair Salon by Jian Guo has been recognized as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Suzhou Takosa Hair Salon received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
