Sunshine Villa
Sunshine Villa is a residential interior design for a three-floor house that faces a street. The interior area covers 300 square meters and the garden covers 261 square meters. The staircase was moved to the street frontage, so the living room and bedrooms face the inner garden. The new layout reduces the effect of the noisy street on the living spaces. Soundproof glass along the staircase and a large floor-to-ceiling glass door increase natural light. The living room connects to the garden in several places, and the garden holds two recreational areas.
Sunshine Villa Residence by Yanlai Xiao has been highlighted as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Sunshine Villa Residence won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
