Corner of Tranquility

Corner of Tranquility is a residential apartment interior design covering 73 square meters. The scheme uses a modern style built from grey glass, aluminum pieces and iron pieces. Glass partitions define the study area and reduce visual blockages, while tile lines extend inward from the transparent glass. A storage room was created at the corner near the bathroom door by changing the direction of the master bedroom door. In the master bedroom, a large sliding door with an oil painting covers the window and can be opened to let daylight enter.

Corner of Tranquility Residential Apartment by Yi-Yun Chang was selected as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
