Proto Headquarter
Proto Headquarter is an office interior created inside an old house of 66 square meters. The design preserves the original building mass and texture, and uses natural wood and bright tones to form a solid and calm working space. Cement and steel elements of coarse texture are combined with fine solid wood veneer, while mirrors spread changing light and shadow. An island was added where the existing beams and columns prevented the removal of partitions. Comfort for staff and guests is the main consideration.
Proto Headquarter Office by WEN HSUAN TAI was highlighted as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Proto Headquarter Office was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
