Natural Flavor
Natural Flavor is a residential interior design for a 158 square meter apartment. The home includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, light bar, open study room, three bedrooms and two washrooms. Natural materials such as engineered flooring, wood blocks, retro bricks and marble create a loft style close to nature. A wall was removed to open the public area, so sunlight enters from three directions. A 45 degree beveled design turns a wasted corner into storage. All doors reach ceiling height to widen and extend the view.
Natural Flavor Residence by Ying Li Cheng has been recognized as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Natural Flavor Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
