Redsun Zhenghong
Redsun Zhenghong is a villa interior design located in Zhuji, Zhejiang, China. The design follows a female perspective and oriental aesthetics, inspired by the red dowry of traditional Chinese weddings. Plain white silk tones and deep red form the main palette, with accents of vermilion, dark reddish purple and cyan. Grey marble and large areas of dark walnut veneer support the bold colors. The living room uses an enclosed layout with flexible furniture, while a tea room and a family activity area are placed in the basement. The intent is harmony and an implicit sense of beauty.
Redsun Zhenghong Villa by Sheng Menghua has been selected as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Redsun Zhenghong Villa received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
