Autumn of Freedom
Autumn of Freedom is a residential interior design located in Taichung, Taiwan. The home covers 370 square meters on a high floor and has floor-to-ceiling windows that admit strong daylight. Dark tones, brown wood veneers, floors and furniture are used to soften the bright interior and create a calm atmosphere. Bronze mirrors, metal lighting and balanced spatial proportions further temper the sunlight. Wood, shell, metal and leather are combined to give the public and private areas a mature and serene character inspired by autumn.
Autumn of Freedom Residential House by Wei Chiang Liao was featured as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Autumn of Freedom Residential House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
