Light Reborn
Light Reborn is a residential interior design for a 105 square meter home in a 33 year old building. The renovation creates a bright, functional and balanced living space. Floor to ceiling windows and partial wall removal allow natural light to reach deep areas. A semi open kitchen and dining layout connects the main living zones. Natural wood veneer, stone grained tiles and eco friendly coatings form a layered material palette. Full height cabinets and multifunctional furniture provide integrated storage while keeping visual clarity.
Light Reborn Residential by Yi Hsuan Chen has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Light Reborn Residential won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
