Designed as a 100 square meter retreat for a senior executive in the technology industry, this residence serves as a temporary home for quality time with family away from the pressures of city life. Matte artistic coatings are applied throughout, with reflective surfaces deliberately minimized to reduce visual stimulation. Open living and dining areas nurture connection, while private rooms cradle rest. Warm layered lighting and gentle textures deepen the sense of refuge, creating a space for true relaxation and quiet self dialogue amid a fast paced world.
Void of Serenity Residential House by Chia Min Ho was identified as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Void of Serenity Residential House earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
