Moon Spills
Moon Spills is a residential interior design created by merging two separate apartment units. The interior spans about 382.4 square meters and includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms. A curved ceiling in the living area softens a large structural beam and column. At the entrance, a round light inspired by a skylight recalls the moon and casts shifting shadows. Hidden doors are aligned with the television wall to create a clean entry. The palette combines beige, walnut wood and white with subtle rose gold, while brushed wood veneer, architectural concrete and metal add texture.
Moon Spills Residence by Makoto Spatial Design, Wei-Cheng Chen was recognized as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards.
