A Moment
A Moment is a residential interior design for an apartment of 80 square meters in Taipei. An open floor plan increases the sense of depth and creates a circulated flow through the main area. Walls and openings were rearranged so that natural light reaches most zones, which lowers the need for artificial light during the day. Sliding doors allow each area to be separated when privacy is needed. A storage unit set under the main beam also works as a space divider. Textured wood panels and mineral paint shift in appearance as the light changes.
A Moment Residential Interior by Studio One has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. A Moment Residential Interior won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
