U Magic
U Magic is the interior design of a medical cosmetic clinic in Jiaojiang, China. The design blurs the boundary between interior and exterior, so that the space and its surroundings harmonize. Spatial volumes are reconfigured to form a new order of overlapping and undulating blocks, shaped by a combination of lines and curves. A spiral staircase connects the two floors and follows the constraints of the existing building structure. Warm lighting at 3500K softens the atmosphere, while light and shadow add depth along the spatial lines.
U Magic Medical Cosmetic Institution by ELTO Consultancy has been highlighted as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. U Magic Medical Cosmetic Institution earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
