Stone Dialogue
Stone Dialogue is a residential interior design for a 54 square meter apartment renovated for a young couple. The living room and the kitchen are joined in an open plan to support family interaction. Mottled texture paint on the entrance wall imitates the surface of a rock slab and is paired with stainless steel panels. Walnut and elm wood veneer and stone cover the columns beside the television wall. Storage is placed along the route from the porch to the television wall. The quiet lines and warm colors make the small space feel larger.
Stone Dialogue Residential by Ya Hsuan Chiang was highlighted as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Stone Dialogue Residential was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
