Ink Realm
Ink Realm is a residential interior design for a 145 square meter apartment in Taipei, Taiwan. The home is planned for long-term living after retirement, so functionality and durability are emphasized. Natural materials such as charcoal and diatomaceous earth help to balance indoor temperature and humidity and to purify the air. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the surrounding greenery inside, and a semi-translucent book wall keeps the living room and the study area bright. A smart home system controls temperature, lighting, curtains and security by mobile phone.
Ink Realm Residence by HOZHAO INTERIOR DESIGN has been identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ink Realm Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
