Meinger Cracow
Meinger Cracow is a hybrid hotel interior that combines the services of an international economy hotel with shared areas such as a guest kitchen and a games zone. The interior occupies 450 square metres over five levels. The ground floor holds the common areas, while the upper floors hold the rooms and dormitories. The room structure is flexible, ranging from double rooms and private shared rooms to beds in shared dormitories. The design draws on motifs from Krakow, including magic, chessboards and old shop windows. Custom carpets and wallpapers were made.
Meinger Cracow Hybrid Hotel by Magdalena Federowicz Boule has been recognized as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Meinger Cracow Hybrid Hotel earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
