Nantian 99
Nantian 99 is a split level house with a three decade history in Taiwan. It offers various amenities like family gatherings, dining, working, watching movies, and even VR sim racing. Creating harmony involves blending materials, functionality, and technology, resulting in a Smart Home that seamlessly incorporates conventional wall plates. In renovating part of the house, ensuring a smooth transition between old and new sections is crucial. By using original materials, the design team maintains the charm of aged walls, blending them with the new areas, exemplifying a timeless design ethos.
Nantian 99 Residential House by Meng Hsiang Chen has been highlighted as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Nantian 99 Residential House was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
