Spring Reflection
Spring Reflection is a residential interior design for a 30 year old home of 137 square meters in Taipei, Taiwan. The home has three bedrooms and two living rooms for a couple and their child. The style is simple and cozy, with a French vintage influence. A television wall and a curved ceiling structure conceal the staircase, and a single curved iron piece connects them. The kitchen uses sixteen patterns of French vintage tiles on the floor and walls. The original tiles were covered with wooden flooring and the brick partitions were kept to reduce construction waste.
Spring Reflection Residential Interiors by Yan De Jiang was selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Spring Reflection Residential Interiors was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
