The Blues
The Blues is a residential interior design created for a family of three in Taiwan. The home covers about 154 square meters and contains a foyer, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a master bedroom, a guest bedroom and an open plan study. The television wall is made of titanium plated metal wrapped in warm woodwork. A glass partition encloses the study and keeps the interior transparent, so work and family life can share one area. The beveled ceiling of the master bedroom conceals low beams. Non toxic materials were selected for the child.
The Blues Residence by Magikcache Co., Ltd. was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Blues Residence earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
