Future Deja Vu
Future Deja Vu is a residential interior design located in Taipei. The layout is open, with a central walkway serving as the main axis. A multi-faceted sofa acts as the pivot, connecting the living room, the study and the kitchen with an island. Light strips form virtual partitions and outline each area, creating a suspended visual effect. Reflective black glass and mirror-like materials add a technical character. Gray paint covers the walls, floors and ceilings, while black, blue and red accents provide contrast. The private rooms are arranged to suit future needs.
Future Deja Vu Residential by KAO SHIH CHIEH was recognized as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Future Deja Vu Residential was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
