Leading River Interior Design
Leading River Interior Design is an office interior created for a design studio in Shenzhen, China. The workspace combines reception, work, meeting, coffee break, reading and social areas in one open plan. Each unit works independently and can be reconfigured and joined with the others. A half-enclosed entrance front in matte black sheets contrasts with ivory stone walls inside. Embedded transparent and translucent glass with anti-glare measures softens the border between interior and exterior. An arched ceiling optimizes an original structural beam and extends the space.
Leading River Interior Design Office by Wayne Chen has been highlighted as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Leading River Interior Design Office received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
