Villa Mandarin Palace
Villa Mandarin Palace is a residential interior design located in Shanghai, China. The 1800-square-meter house follows a symmetrical layout based on a central axis. Corridors, courtyards and a waterscape form a modern Chinese courtyard with a private garden. The ground floor holds the living space of the elders and a Shanghai-style Chinese dining room for family gatherings. The longitudinal area contains the main reception area and a separate lounge for female guests. Two patios bring daylight and greenery into the basement floor.
Villa Mandarin Palace House by Beilei Ge was recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Villa Mandarin Palace House won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
