Prance
Prance is an office interior design located in Hsinchu, Taiwan, covering 291 square meters. A grayscale tone is combined with wood to bring warmth to the space. An open staircase of metal and marble creates a see-through effect and forms the focal point at the entrance. The enlarged starter step marks the center of the space. A wooden partition extends the visual height and provides privacy. The entryway is compressed in scale and then expanded at the high ceiling area. Linear lighting guides movement, and large windows bring natural light to each floor.
Prance Office by Jacksam Yang was selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Prance Office won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
