Blanc
Blanc is a residential interior design created for a three-floor house of 122 square meters in Taiwan. The home was planned for a young couple and a toddler. The ground floor holds the living, dining and kitchen areas, and the bedrooms are placed on the upper floors. Glass sliding doors divide the public area, bring in natural light and block cooking odors. Wood grille, wear-resistant wood flooring and architectural concrete coating form a Japanese minimalist atmosphere. White, gray and brown tones keep the space bright and calm.
Blanc Residential by Yu-Chen Lin has been featured as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Blanc Residential won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
