Exotic Baseball
Exotic Baseball is a hot pot restaurant interior with a total area of 654.5 square meters. Rough cement, red brick and rusted iron are used as the main materials, in light gray and dark red tones. H-shaped steel bars support the structure, and undried cement was splashed on the exterior walls to form uneven patterns. A logo light shaped like a home plate is placed on a brick wall. The first floor holds counters, a kitchen and booths. The second floor has three private rooms with sliding doors and an outdoor terrace.
Exotic Baseball Restaurant by CHING-HSIAO CHIU was featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Exotic Baseball Restaurant was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
