Peach Blossom Spring
Peach Blossom Spring is a private residence located in Nanjing, China. The design follows a people-oriented principle and avoids complex formalism, giving priority to the daily comfort of the residents. Calm neutral textures form the starting point, while bold material pairings such as brass and wood, marble and glass add richness to the rooms. Traditional Chinese methods of framing and borrowing views shape a poetic spatial sequence. Environmentally friendly materials are applied throughout. The interior includes a fireplace with a diameter of 600 millimeters.
Peach Blossom Spring Private Residence by Guangzheng Li has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Peach Blossom Spring Private Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
