Villa Mistral
Villa Mistral is a four level house located in Sentosa Cove, Singapore. The design avoids a plain box form by referring to the shape of a boat. Angular outward leaning structural elements and similarly angled glazed walls recall the experience inside and outside a vessel moving through the sea. Timber and concrete combine in a facade with windows of varying scales. The interiors follow a seaside theme that reflects the waterfront lifestyle of the area. Building design, interior architecture, decoration, furnishings and artworks are fully integrated.
Villa Mistral Residential by Mercurio Design Lab S.r.l. was recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Villa Mistral Residential was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
