Magnificent Scenery
Magnificent Scenery is a residential interior design for a 214-square-meter apartment in Taiwan. Black and white curved columns at the entrance stand for mountain and water. The black mountain is made of wood finished with black bronze lacquer, while the white side is formed as a wave gradient with lighting strips. The ceiling holds two circles, one with twelve lights for the four seasons and one with eight lights. A curved television wall divides the living room and the audio-visual room. Natural stone and water-ripple wood flooring continue the landscape theme.
Magnificent Scenery Residence by Yi-Chien Kang, Hai-Fong Wang has been highlighted as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Magnificent Scenery Residence received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
