Saxe Blue
Saxe Blue is a residential interior design completed in Taiwan in October 2021. The home covers about 396 square meters and was planned around ventilation, orientation and natural light. Saxe blue with a touch of gray forms the main color scheme, and the shaped ceiling recalls the branches of the Elbe River. Transparent reeded glass screens the kitchen, while electric blinds adjust light and privacy. Healthy materials were chosen for a client with a nasal allergy, including green building laminated veneer lumber and eco-friendly latex paint.
Saxe Blue Residential by YuYen Interior Design was selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Saxe Blue Residential earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
