Mora35
Mora35 is a residential interior design for a 52 square meter apartment in a building erected in 1955 in Bucharest, Romania. The two bedroom home keeps the character of the original space while adding modern comfort. Oak wood, brass and white finishes define the surfaces. A brass plinth forms a recessed line where the wall meets the floor, and brass bands outline the doors. The oak furniture is shaped for each room. A KNX system controls lighting, heating, cooling and motorized shades remotely. Floor heating was added during the renovation.
Mora35 Residential by Cristina and Anton Giuroiu was recognized as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Mora35 Residential was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
