Shadow Trail
Shadow Trail is a residential interior design created for a young couple in Taipei, Taiwan. The home of 87 ping contains four rooms and is finished mainly in grayscale tones. Deep ink-play stone, white textured trim, stone and titanium bars are combined for a calm and layered surface. Orange accents, sculptural lighting and slim metal strips add vitality to the low-chroma palette. Low furniture keeps sight lines open and makes the rooms feel wider. Aluminum frames and gray glass on the bedroom cabinets add depth, while custom storage holds suitcases and large quilts.
Shadow Trail Residential by Maumee Interior Design Studio has been featured as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Shadow Trail Residential won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022.
