Encounter Montmartre
Encounter Montmartre is a residential interior design for an apartment in Taipei, Taiwan. The 63-ping home contains three bedrooms, two living rooms and three bathrooms. An open plan joins the living room, the dining room and the kitchen, so daylight from both sides reaches each area. Wooden walls and cabinets divide the interior and add space for display and storage. Rounded wooden cabinets at the entryway echo the corridor. Light gray, beige and wooden tones are used throughout to create a calm and consistent setting.
Encounter Montmartre Residential by Stephy Teng has been identified as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Encounter Montmartre Residential earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
