A C Residence
A C Residence is a residential interior design for a family home in Taiwan. Wooden tones form the central theme of the interior. Materials with different wood grains are combined with white marble, artificial stone, painted copper plates and laminated wooden flooring. Each area is defined by vertical and horizontal material lines instead of solid walls. Glass surfaces keep the circulation open and extend the space visually. A wide hallway, a low sofa and a low television cabinet allow children to move and play freely.
A C Residence House by Wei-Che Chien has been highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. A C Residence House won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
