No Restriction
No Restriction is a residential interior design for a family home. A tea room is placed within the living area like a small box set inside a larger box. The floor of the tea room is slightly raised, and upper and lower light troughs separate the room from the surrounding space. A two-part wooden sliding door links the tea room to the living room, while a glass door opens to the balcony. The result is a circulation loop between living room, tea room and balcony. The design aims to add practicality, aesthetics, planning and environmental care to family life.
No Restriction Residential House by Yu Fei has been selected as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. No Restriction Residential House received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
