Aroeira
Aroeira is a family house designed as a weekend and holiday home in Portugal. The house is set among pine forest and beach landscapes, and the design brings a sense of relaxation to daily routines. Large glass windows create constant contact with the outside and allow extensive natural light. The layout includes four suites, a mezzanine office, a living room, a dining room, a game room and a kitchen. All finishes and furniture were custom made with Portuguese carpentry. The fireplace wall and double height cabinets are integrated into the architecture.
Aroeira Living Space by Ana Rita Soares - Interior Design was highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Aroeira Living Space won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
