WM Coffee Whisky
WM Coffee Whisky is a private bar interior created for a design studio in Nanjing. The bar hosts small gatherings, informal meetings with colleagues and short design talks. Ink green is used as the main colour to give the room a calm and quiet character, while the lighting follows professional bar practice. The space is planned with architectural thinking, and proportions and circulation lines are set according to ergonomics. Materials include micro cement, art lacquer, wood flooring, glass brick and stone. The project was completed in March 2021.
WM Coffee Whisky Bar by Shineng Wei was featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. WM Coffee Whisky Bar won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
