My Boundary
My Boundary is a residential interior design in Taoyuan city, Taiwan, with a floor area of 69.42 square meters. The plan divides the space in a modern style and adapts it to the needs of the residents. In the study room, glass and a glass block wall let sunlight pass into the interior, so light and shadow move slowly through the rooms. A semi-circular detail in the master bedroom extends the sense of space. Plywood and wooden beams are treated by a high temperature carbonization process, and the television wall is finished with recyclable tiles made from PP foam.
My Boundary Residence by Yi-Yun Chang has been selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. My Boundary Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
