Neutral Line
Neutral Line is a residential interior design completed in Zhubei City, Taiwan. White is used as the main color, so light and shadow reveal the depth of the space. Spanish ceramic flooring, wooden veneer and metal hardware covered with Moru glass balance warm and cool tones. A linear design language divides the living areas, and a central aquarium framed in metal also works as a space divider. The layout was replanned to provide three bedrooms and a dining area for gatherings. Smart technology allows remote control of curtains, lamps and home appliances.
Neutral Line Residence by Wei-Wen Liao has been recognized as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Neutral Line Residence won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
