Z
Z is a residential interior design for an apartment in New Taipei City. The scheme is based on cool gray tones, with marble, terrazzo, FENIX panels, cement and titanium plated metal forming the material base. Partition walls were removed so that daylight reaches the whole home, including a living room that previously had none. A three-dimensional arc ceiling shapes and softens the main space, and the curve is inspired by the form of an embrace. Decoration is kept minimal, so the texture of each material creates the layering and a calm, quiet place to rest.
Z Residential Interior Design by Creep Design was selected as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Z Residential Interior Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
