Partial of Style
Partial of Style is a residential interior design located in Haimen, China. The home covers 195 square meters and includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, study area, master room, bedrooms and bathrooms. Dark green serpentine and plain white marble form strong color blocks that shape the walls like layers of oil paint. Walnut, oak, leather and brass add warm tones. The design recalls the mixed Chinese and Western styles of old Shanghai. Each area is defined by volume, so the flow of the space builds a calm and ritual-like experience.
Partial of Style Residential House by Nic Lee has been selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Partial of Style Residential House was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
