Jiangyin Thermoelectric
Jiangyin Thermoelectric is an exhibition hall set in the old factory area of a thermal power company. A three-story building of about 1200 square meters was converted into a corporate exhibition hall and a green energy science museum. The design theme is green energy creating the future. Interactive multimedia displays include a Thermal Forest LED light show, an Energy Planet dome and a holographic Tesla coil. Children can light a model bridge by cycling to generate electricity. A control unit used in the plant for 30 years is kept on display.
Jiangyin Thermoelectric Exhibition Hall by Sunidea Design has been highlighted as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Jiangyin Thermoelectric Exhibition Hall was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
