Huangpu Taste
Huangpu Taste is a private dining interior placed inside an office building in the Lujiazui central business district of Shanghai. The 650 square meter space is not open to the public and serves internal reception and dining, which reduces travel time and supports work efficiency. Abstract forms of mountains, stones, water reflection and fish shadows shape the hall. Repeated vertical lines order the private rooms and recall a bamboo forest. Wood veneer covers the ceiling, oxidized copper faces the walls, and rattan is used on the chairs.
Huangpu Taste Restaurant by Black Lv has been selected as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Huangpu Taste Restaurant won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
