Fuzhou Zhimu
Fuzhou Zhimu is a spa interior located on the third floor of an office building in Fuzhou, China. The project covers 2361 square meters. A natural landscape stands in front of the entrance, and guests walk along a long path through a rectangular block. The path is intended to help visitors leave the noise of the city behind. In the reception area, stone, wood and metal are kept within one color range to create an immersive setting. The visual focus is a bamboo painting seen in mist, which recalls a bamboo forest. The design draws on local tea and bamboo culture.
Fuzhou Zhimu Spa by Chuanjin Sun was selected as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Fuzhou Zhimu Spa received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
