Hsu
Hsu House is a residential apartment interior with an area of 188 square meters and a height of 3.5 meters. The design is based on a series of living objects that connect the daily scenes of a home. A curved kitchen island stands at the center and keeps the space soft and flowing. A bookcase made of iron and wood is set against an earthy wall. An entrance of glass bricks balances light, transparency and privacy. Matcha green, goose yellow and dark pink respond to the tropical climate and the outdoor landscape. Materials are kept simple and decoration is reduced.
Hsu Residential Apartment by CHEN YU HO has been featured as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Hsu Residential Apartment won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
