Brimming of Art
Art and Chanson Overbrimming is a residential interior design for an apartment in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Unnecessary walls were removed to widen the shared area and to create a transparent ambiance. Wood look tiles, sintered stones, metal plates and white painted woodwork form a calm palette of low chroma black, white and grey. The television wall is built with metal and extends to the ceiling along the beams. Display cabinets, a piano and crystal pieces present the collection of the residents, in the manner of a small gallery.
Brimming of Art Residential by Hung Yu Chen was featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Brimming of Art Residential received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
