Rational Spirit
Rational Spirit is an office interior designed for an architecture firm in Taiwan. Wood, stone, red brick and iron are combined to build a clear brand image, supported by modern lines and deep colours. A large block made of a tree trunk stands at the entrance, where it guides movement and serves as a temporary waiting area. In the public work space, iron grilles cover the ceiling pipes, and waist height partitions with storage give privacy while allowing discussion. A world map is carved on the brick and concrete wall of the conference room.
Rational Spirit Office by Wen Feng Hsueh has been recognized as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Rational Spirit Office was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
