Reuniting
Reuniting is a residential interior design for a 172 square meter home in Taipei, Taiwan, completed in September 2019. Green decoration guides the space arrangement, circulation, lighting, wood sheets, paints and electrical equipment, supporting energy saving and lower carbon emissions. Natural stone, wood veneer, solid wood, low-formaldehyde wood sheets, eco-friendly engineered flooring and LED lighting are used. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring daylight and fresh air inside. An open island counter, a large dining room and a flexible study room encourage family gathering.
Reuniting Residential Space by Yen-Jung Yu was identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Reuniting Residential Space earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
