The Home of Bobo
The Home of Bobo is a residential interior design covering 150 square meters and formed from two former lofts. Most of the walls were removed to make the space bright and open, with a wide view. The first floor connects the living room, the dining room and the kitchen. The second floor holds the private area, where glass keeps a sense of transparency. Twill laminate flooring, varnished boards, marble, patterned carpet and soft fabrics are combined with low saturation colors. The layout also gives room for the objects collected by the owner during travels.
The Home of Bobo Residential by Deng Zhichao has been selected as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. The Home of Bobo Residential received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
