Pithy Pure
Pithy Pure is a residential interior design for a young couple and their children in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The home follows a calm Japanese style, using wood veneer, lacquered glass, color paint and wooden floors. An open plan links the dining room, living room and study room. The entrance holds a long row of cabinets for shoes, display and storage. Environmentally friendly and non-toxic cabinets support a safe environment for children. A quiet space for daily rituals is included, reflecting the family faith.
Pithy Pure Residence by Yan Ru Chen has been highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Pithy Pure Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
